The last active volcanoes in Germany became extinct up to 12,900 years ago in the Eifel region. Directly below the earth's surface, a porous, porous, light, rough and pressure-resistant natural rock - lava - can be found around the former volcanoes. After extraction and refinement into different grain sizes, this ecologically excellent raw material becomes an innovative lightweight aggregate and an ecologically valuable substrate. Thanks to the complex cleaning and sorting processes, the material is practically free of impurities such as organic matter, basalt and grit.

Our lava, known as lava stone, lava chippings, lava substrate, lava granulate or lava mulch, is available in red-brown and black-anthracite colours and serves as a basis for enhancing the appearance of your indoor and outdoor areas. Dr Riffer Lava Deco is used indoors in terrariums, aquariums or as a base for plants. Outdoors, the lava is used to enhance the garden in bedding or path construction, as a planting base or mulch material.

Palletised goods

1. palletised goods are delivered using a lifting platform truck and pallet truck. Unloading takes place at ground level on firm ground, free kerbside.

2. please always ensure that the goods can be received at the agreed delivery date at the corresponding delivery location. The forwarding agent will contact you by telephone to arrange an appointment. If acceptance is not possible due to absence, subsequent costs will be incurred for a new delivery.

3. the unloading of the goods by the forwarding agent to another location, e.g. in front of the front door, in the garden, in the garage or via unpaved paths or similar, is not part of the forwarding agent's scope of services. Such services may be provided as part of customer service, but can neither be claimed nor complained about.

1. our products are natural products and are therefore subject to natural variations in specific weight, colour and shape. Deviations in stone, structure, etc. are also natural and do not constitute a defect.

2. the grain size is determined by a square mesh sieve, the smallest edge side is decisive for this.

3. the settlement factor is approx. 15-35%, delivery takes place in a loosened state.
